Family Health Center of Worcester is one of the three Family Medicine Practice sites of the ACGME-accredited University of Massachusetts Worcester Family Medicine Residency.
Family Medicine Residents at Family Health Center of Worcester are exposed to faculty with expertise in a breadth of clinical interests. These areas of expertise include women’s health, refugee care, addiction medicine, global health, psychiatry, chronic disease management, gender-affirming care, office procedures and care of vulnerable populations. Residents also provide care for Worcester’s diverse community on inpatient rotations at the UMass university-based and community hospitals.
The training experience at Family Health Center of Worcester prepares residents to care for underserved and vulnerable populations in a wide variety of practice locations. Graduates have gone on to practice in rural, suburban, urban and international settings.
At Family Health Center of Worcester, Family Medicine Residents gain knowledge and skills that prepare them to be part of the solution to America’s health care problems. Future family physicians who are willing to become a part of the solution should apply!
