Worcester, MA – [January 6, 2025] – Family Health Center of Worcester, Inc. (FHCW) today announced the appointment of Leon Emery Wilkerson, Esq., as its new Chief Workforce Officer. This key leadership role reflects FHCW’s ongoing commitment to advancing equity, fostering a supportive work environment, and creating opportunities for professional growth within the organization.
Attorney Leon Wilkerson brings an exceptional breadth of expertise in workforce development, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), and strategic leadership. As a seasoned human resources executive and attorney, his career spans over a decade of impactful contributions across industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, and energy. Notably, he has crafted workforce development strategies, led DEI initiatives, and guided organizations through complex transformations.

Attorney Wilkerson holds a Juris Doctorate from FAMU College of Law, a Master’s in Human Resource Management from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor’s in Education from the University of Florida. He is admitted to practice law in multiple jurisdictions. As Chief Workforce Officer, Wilkerson will lead FHCW’s efforts to build a thriving workforce by enhancing recruitment and retention, promoting professional development, and fostering a culture of belonging and excellence.
