Family Health Center of Worcester Announces Newly Imagined Fall Fundraiser, Healthy Ever After: An Evening of Stories to Benefit FHCW

The Federally Qualified Community Health Center Which Serves Over 30,000 Patients in 77 Languages Each Year Will Host Event at DCU Center on October 10, 2024

Healthy Ever After, Family Health Center of Worcester, Fundraising Event, October 10, 2024

Worcester, MA – July 15, 2024  – Family Health Center of Worcester (FHCW) today announced their newly imagined Fall fundraiser: Healthy Ever After, an evening of stories and performances celebrating health – however you define it. This event will take place on October 10, 2024, at The DCU Center in the Grand Ballroom. The evening will begin with a reception at 6 PM, followed by a series of Ted-Talk style stories and performances.

“We are excited to bring together community partners, friends of the health center, arts enthusiasts, and elected officials, Worcester residents, and FHCW staff to commune, honor, and deepen our commitment to the community health center movement,” said Louis Brady, Chief Executive Officer of Family Health Center of Worcester. “This event is a testament to the strength and resilience of our diverse community and is sure to be an inspiring evening.”

Healthy Ever After is a unique celebration, highlighting the diverse and culturally rich communities that make up the fabric of Worcester, Massachusetts. The event will feature speakers from these communities, sharing their personal stories and perspectives on health and wellness, featuring complex emotional journeys of struggle, solidarity, and success.

Worcester-based performing arts organization, Broadway in Worcester will provide performance and storytelling coaching, rehearsal support, and will direct the evening’s entertainment.
